Abstract

The extractor is of the type comprising a plate (1) provided with a centre hub (20) through which extends a screw (5) for exerting a force on the element to which the part to be disassembled is fitted. At least two claws (13) for hooking onto said part are pivotally connected to the plate. A disc (22) for positioning the claws is slidably mounted on the hub and extends in a direction roughly parallel to the plate and is resiliently biased toward the latter. The positioning disc is guided by the hub and has a frustoconical surface which engages the claws so at to coordinate the inward and outward movements of the claws relative to the screw in a symmetrical manner. <IMAGE>
