Abstract

A digital electronic timepiece has two display zones 11, 12 (Fig. 1) and has a time of day indicating function, a calendar function, a chronograph function and a lap time function. When the time of day indicating function is selected, time of day is displayed in first zone and calendar indication in second zone. When chronograph function is selected, time of day is displayed in the first zone and lapse of time in the second zone. When lap time function is selected during operation of chronograph function, lap time is displayed in first zone and lapse of time in second zone. <IMAGE>
