Abstract

A rupture disk 16 comprising a disk of sheet material, such as metal, which may or may not have a central domed concave-convex portion 20 and may be of the normal or of the reverse rupture type, has 3 or more scores 26 providing lines of weakness formed on a surface of the disk, each score including a main portion 28 radiating from the centre of the disk, and having at its radially outer end a pair of diverging additional score portions 42 and 44. <IMAGE>
