Abstract

A nozzle for spraying liquid media, eg., a flat-jet nozzle for plant spraying, is injection moulded in synthetic thermoplastic material, said nozzle having walls of uniform thickness surrounding a central liquid passage 11, 12. This passage is constricted in stages towards a mouth 13 within a radially inner part 17 having a cylindrical shape, while a radially outer part 18 is separated from the inner part by an annular gap 16 and having a uniform thickness approximately equal to the wall of the inner part, including where flats 14, 15 are provided on the outside of the outer part. The radially inner part 17 is connected to the radially outer part 18 by radial webs, at approximately 90 DEG to each other, and arranged in symmetrical pairs around the mouth 13 which is slit-shaped. The annular gap extends axially to such a depth that the wall thickness at the junction between the stages of the central liquid passage is equal to the wall thickness elsewhere. <IMAGE>
