Abstract

The device comprises a resilient member (2,3) having a generally U-shaped cross section, from the ends of which pins (4, 5) extend outwardly. In a relaxed position of the device the pins enclose an obtuse angle and when the side arms, of the U-shaped member are flexed inwardly by pressure applied to the flanges the angle enclosed by the pins is reduced. In the flexed position of the device the pins are pushed through the perforable material and into a support base and when the pressure is released the arms tend to return to the rest position forcing the pins into the base,and thus securing the sheet material thereto. Alternatively the relaxed position is with the pins closer together, and lever or plunger means are provided to force the side arms apart into the securing position. The pins may be protected by a flexible or deflectable shield. <IMAGE>
