Abstract
The electroacoustic transducer of a transducer head used in such devices as an ultrasonic test equipment or an air-borne noise transmitter is supplied with a pulse having a pulse width which is adjustable. Figure 2 shows a graphical plot of a pulse 4 used in the transducer according to the invention on an amplitude time diagram having as well as an adjustable pulse width 5 adjustable descending and ascending flanks 6, 7. <IMAGE>
