Abstract

A system for addressing a number of receivers in turn uses a chain code which is such that the last n digits of the code represent different receiver addresses throughout the transmission of the complete code, so that the receivers are addressed unambiguously in turn. One application is to the investigation of the state of a number of alarms, each one of which is associated with one of the receivers.
