Abstract

The present invention relates to compounds of formula I <IMAGE> in which each of R1 and R2, independently is hydrogen, (C1-4)alkyl or (C1-4)alkoxy, M is hydrogen or an equivalent of a non chromophoric cation, and the sulpho group is in the meta or para position, or mixtures thereof, which compounds and mixtures are useful as anionic dye-stuffs. <IMAGE>
