Abstract

199,511. Parkes, S. R. April 1, 1922. Brackets.-In a shelf bracket &c. of the type made by bending portions A, B of a sheet metal blank at right angles to the main position D, a groove or rib a<1> is formed at the edge of the thin portion where the bends are made. The bracket may be further strengthened by a groove or rib d<1> extending strutwise across the main portion D which may also have a curved groove or rib d<2> near its edge. The grooves or ribs may also be provided in a bracket formed by bending a portion of the metal at right angles all round so as to form a rounded corner e<1> with the limbs A, B in one continuous piece.
