Abstract

196,340. Potter, F., and Welford & Son, Ltd., G. Jan. 13, 1922. Netting. - Relates to cargo slings and other nets in which linking members 14 are used for holding the cords or wires in position. The members 14 are formed with separate channels for the two cords or wires in order to prevent them touching one another. Preferably the cords or wires do not cross. The members 14 may be integral as shown in Fig. 3, or divided as shown in Fig. 4. The cords or wires may be free in the members 14 or they may be tightly clamped. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 10841/88 and 14858/89, [both in Class 45, Fencing &c.], 16441/02, [Class 52, Furniture &c.], 13599/09, 22484/14, and 11098/15, [all in Class 45, Fencing &c.].
