195,672. Plantation Rubber Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and Dessau, M. M. Oct. 12, 1921. Line floats; net floats and buoys. - Golf and tennis balls, floats for valves and fishing purposes, Lifebuoys, cushions, buffers, washers, &c. have cores built up of raw rubber strip which is twisted or otherwise acted upon to give it an irregular cord-Like character and is wound upon a nucleus of rubber, paper, metal, glass or other material. As shown, a ball is formed of a nucleus a of paper over which twisted strips of raw rubber b are wound and the ball completed by a cover c. The core may be subjected to a cold vulcanization process after being wound.
