Ladders. - A combined step-ladder and chair has the seat 4 of the chair pivoted to the front legs 5 and pins 6 at the rear end of the seat are adapted to slide in grooves 7 in the chair back 1, which is integral with the rear legs and is provided with rings 2. Pivoted stays 3 connect the front and rear legs. When the seat 4 is moved about its pivots to bring its rear edge to the upper end of the chair back, a step-ladder is formed.
