Abstract

193,797. Mulcahy, E. H. Jan. 4, 1922. Gaiter. - Relates to sheaths or gaiters for laminated vehicle springs and consists in the application thereto of the method of fastening shown. The inner longitudinal flap 2 carries metal eye-members 4 adapted to project through corresponding holes 5 in the outer flap 3. A strap 6 is then threaded through the projecting portions of the eyes. The gaiter may be constructed as described in Specification 191,951.
