Screw and the like propellers.-In propellers of the kind which carry a flange extending radially from the axis of rotation, the flange 7 extends forwardly of the forward edge of the propeller blade, which is without pitch and concave longitudinally and transversely, stiffening- ribs 10 being provided on the convex face. The hub 5 has flattened surfaces 11 at each side to obtain shoulders for the base ends of the ribs.
