Liquids, purifying; filtering-media.-Water contaminated with arsenic compounds is purified by passing it through a porous medium containing ferric hydroxide distributed therein. The porous medium may be asbestos wool or may be lightly packed in a tube of steel or pottery. The filter is particularly suitable for field use.
