Gyroscopic apparatus. - Relates to apparatus for steering torpedoes and like automobile bodies having complete independence of action after they have been started on their run. According to the invention, the gyroscope is spun up by electric means independently of the launching of the torpedo, and is kept spinning during the run by the same electric means, which are carried by the torpedo.
