Chemicals and substances.-In charges for extincteurs of the kind in which a foam-producing substance, such as Quillaia or Panama bark, is employed, the alkaline charge consists of approximately one ounce of Quillaia bark to each pound of sodium bicarbonate. This quantity of the mixture is used with about 1“ gallons of water.
