Fatty oils, extracting. -A machine for removing the pericarp and separating oil from fruits comprises a rotary table a carrying curved blades m, to which the fruit is guided from a hopper o by oppositely curved blades n carried by the casing f. The casing f may rotate oppositely to the table a. The table may be either flat or conical and may be turned up at the periphery, or the casing may be turned downwards to surround the table. The pericarp is thrown by centrifugal action against a screen r through which oil passes, the residue falling into a chamber q arranged in a steam chamber l. The kernels are discharged through apertures in the surrounding frame.
