Abstract

Rests, head.-An apparatus for supporting the head for medical, toilet, or other treatment consists of a telescopic arm 6, 7 pivoted to a base or other support 1 and carrying a concave or bowed spring member 14 across which is stretched a band of fabric, felt, &c. 15. The base or stand may be weighted or fitted with a vacuum device to give stability. The ends of the spring member 14 may be formed with hooks 16 to engage pockets at the ends of the band of fabric.
