Clips, band.-A collar A is secured on a shaft, pillar, or the like B, as in a radial-arm drilling- machine, by means of sliding blocks F, G mounted on a right and left handed screwed shaft M within a tangentially bored boss C on the collar. In a modification, one sliding block only is employed and the operating shaft has a collar at its end to retain it within the boss.
