Rotary wet-separating apparatus.-In apparatus for separating coarse from finely divided material, such as ores, of the kind comprising a rotary barrel 10 having its lower side inclined, and tubes 19 open to the interior of the barrel at its periphery only and adapted to discharge the coarse material outside the barrel, the discharge ends of the tubes 19 are so arranged that the material from each tube falls clear of the openings of the other tubes. The ends 19<a> are bent as shown; or, in a modification, the tubes extend across the barrel 10 and through the opposite wall.
