7801. Dulcken, A. C. March 27. Bristles, fixing.-A brush stem B is formed with or connected to a T-piece A, over the shoulders of which bristles C are folded and secured in position by a binding-wire D, which is finally secured through a hole D<1>. In one modification, additional T-pieces are secured to the central one for extra bunches of bristles. Another form, Fig. 4, has a number of T-pieces for a flat brush, but the one binding-wire passes from bunch to bunch, and the whole is covered by a casing H. In another form, the shoulders A are formed as a cross.
