Driving-gear of crank type and coupling-rods, arrangement of.-In a crank-axle for locomotive and other engines, the inside cranks are formed by two easy bends in the axle a, the parts b, b<1> constituting crank-pins. The ends of the axle a are fixed eccentrically in the hubs of the wheels, while the outside journals f are fixed centrally in the wheel hubs or formed integral therewith, and carry pins g<1> for coupling-rods.
