Abstract

28,525. Morgan, J., and Bradley, G. Dec. 10. Road surface boxes.-Relates to boxes made in superposed sections, each section being adapted to accommodate the cover, and each section above the base section having an upwardlyextending portion and a downwardlyextending portion, and consists in making the height of the former portion approximately equal to the depth of the latter portion. Fig. 2 shows a man-hole frame formed of superposed rings a, b, b, c shaped as shown so that each is adapted to receive the cover h and provided with lugs m for receiving connecting-bolts n. Packing-rings k are provided between the sections to make tight joints.
