Fold - engaging and like files; fastenings.- Relates to account-books of the kind comprising two books assembled in a three-part cover, one book being arranged transversely to t h e other. One book a, Fig. 1, for general entries is arranged transversely on the cover c, and is preferably detachably attached by means of a spring bolt n mounted in lugs o, o<1> and passing down the back of the book. The other book b for journal entries consists of loose leaves bound, for example, by pins f<1>, Fig. 3, carried by a bar e and engaging slots in a resilient sliding bar g, the middle pin being headed to lock in a keyhole slot in the bar g.
