23,747. Straschnow, R. Oct. 20. Vacuum cleaning- apparatus. - In apparatus of the single-acting handoperated pistonpump type, a partition 10 with a central opening is arranged between the cylinder 1 of the pump and a second cylinder 2 containing the dust-separator. The cylinders 1, 2 are separably connected by a rubber ring 13 to allow the dust to be removed from the separator 11, which consists of a body 16 filled with cotton and a yoke 17 to support a bag 18 which is secured to the body by a wire in the groove 19. A valve 21 is arranged as shown in the transverse wall of the body 16. The nozzle 24 is connected to a tube 4 which projects within a conical tube 3 to form an annular dust-collecting space.
