Body harness and supp o r t s. - In chest - ex - panders, orthopaedic appliances, &c., comprising stays c and pad-carriers a mounted on the stays, the sleeves b of the carriers through which the stays pass are attached to the stays by means of screws &c. e acting on the edges of the stays. The edges of the stays may have shallow recesses to engage the points of the screws. Instead of screws, small eccentrics, mounted on the sleeves of the carriers and adapted to be pressed against the edges of the stays, may be used.
