Abstract

21,646. Beaver, C. J., and Claremont, E. A. Sept. 25. Insulators; junction and test boxes.-Cables are supported in joint cases in an insulating- frame comprising an inner web, Fig. 5, provided with notches for the reception of the conductors, which is held within an outer annulus as shown in Fig.-3 after the conductors have been placed in the notches in the web. The annulus is provided with outer projections d serving to space the conductors from the walls of the joint case, and, in order to secure the web, inwardly-projecting flanges e are provided on the annulus, so that after introducing the web as shown in dotted lines in Fig. 3, it may be locked by turning it to engage between the flanges e.
