Battery lamps; combined with dynamos.-An electric torch contains an accumulator 11 and a small magneto or dynamo 1 for charging it by hand, the driving - means consisting of a spring push 9 operating by a rack and pinion a free wheel 6 engaging a worm 5 on the spindle of the armature, which preferably is drumwound. Switches 14, 15 are provided. According to the Provisional Specification, the dynamo may light the lamp without an accumulator.
