Abstract

20,247. Crickmay, E. J. Sept. 8. Cord strainers.-Apparatus for tensioning the cord of a lawn-tennis net comprises a lever 11 pivoted in a bracket 16 secured to the post and having the cord secured thereto as shown in Fig. 1. A cylindrical piece 15, or a wedge, which is secured to the post by a cord, is inserted between the lever and the post to maintain the lever in the strained position. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 19,744/13.
