Clamps, screw; turn-bolt door fastenings.-In a fastening for the door of a cold store &c., which can be operated from either side, a threaded bolt a, which can he rotated without axial movement, passes through the jamb, and carries a nut i having collars h thereon. When the forked end n of a member k, pivoted on the door, is turned into engagement with a squared or feathered portion of the nut, and the bolt a is rotated, the nut is traversed without rotating, and one of the collars h on the nut presses against the fork n. A handle m is provided to enable the piece k to be turned from the inside of the door.
