[Cognate Application, 22,187/13.] Commodes.-A portable commode of the type having a fixed or removable flange to serve as a seat is provided with a separate supporting- ring. In the arrangement shown in Fig. 2, the ring e<2> is carried by a tripod and supports the top of the commode. In the arrangement shown in Fig. 4, the ring f rests on the ground and bears against an enlargement a<4> on the commode.
