Abstract
18,579. Lelarge, H. A. A. J. Aug. 15. Catalytic apparatus; gases and vapours, treating electrically.-A casing d contains crossed layers of spiral strips, the outer layers being made of a conductor of electricity, and the inner ones of a non-conductor such as porcelain. In the treatment of gases, the inner spirals are impregnated with a catalyst, and a high-tension discharge is caused to take place across them. In this way reactions between gases are facilitated.
