Mounting. - Relates to balanced trunnion bearings, and consists in providing a sleeve E, which fits the trunnion C without play, with vertical front and rear edges e', e<2>, which bear closely against the edges d<3>, d<4> of the carriage cheek D<1> and the locking-block d<2> respectively. The sleeve E has slight vertical play in the carriage cheek.
