Abstract

3591. Warren, J. B. Feb. 11. Fittings, internal.-In collapsible trays for egg cases, incandescent lamp bulb crates, &c., of the kind partitioned into pockets each of which has yielding strips extending in two directions at right-angles across the pocket to keep the egg &c. immovable lengthwise of the pocket, these strips 18, 22, Fig. 1, are arranged in parallel pairs at the upper and lower ends of the pockets, the pairs of strips 22 being closer together than the others and serving to receive the small ends of the eggs. The pockets are formed by partitions slotted as shown in Figs. 4 and 5, the slots 16 and 14 co-operating to keep the partitions in engagement. The pairs of strips 18 are passed through the slots 17, and the pairs of strips 22 are passed through the inclined slots 21.
