[Addition to 1925/13.] Mixing-apparatus.-Relates to the liquidaerating machine described in the parent Specification, and consists in providing devices for feeding the solid and liquid to the cage and for removing the sand. The sleeve a, Fig. 5, carrying the distributing or feed device f and the scoops m, m for removing the sand, revolves at a slower speed than the cage spindle b, owing to frictional contact or outside gearing. The parts f, m may be modified. The sleeve a may be automatically raised and lowered by gearing, or by the device shown in Fig. 4, which comprises a screw-and-nut connexion between the parts. An arm p engages stops q, r at the ends of the vertical movements and causes the machine to reverse.
