26,193. Klingenburg & Halbach Ges., and Stembergh, P. Nov. 14. Drawings to Specification. Fastening wearing-apparel; ribbons.-Shaped dress-bands, ribbons, belts, &c. are stiffened by weaving pockets at several points in the band &c., the pockets being closed by weaving after the stiffeners have been inserted. To form the pockets, the warp threads are divided into two sets for a portion of the width of the band &c., a double fabric being then woven to form the sides of the pockets. Pieces of roughened rubber may be attached to the dressband between adjacent stiffeners to serve as a blouse-retainer.
