Abstract

25,536. Suter, F. W. Nov. 7. [Cognate Application, 8590/13.] Holders for use with tubular incandescent lamps comprise blocks or end-pieces D<6> and reflectors A<3>, which may be separate or integral, and are threaded on to continuous bare conductors B<2>. The blocks are recessed to receive T-shaped pieces F, connecting the lamps E with the conductors B<2>, the block D<6> having a removable upper half allowing access to the connexions. The block D<6> has a vertical hole through which one arm of the T-shaped connector can be inserted when the lamps are to be connected in parallel. When the lamps are to be arranged in two separate circuits, the reflector A<4>, Fig. 9, has passages A<6> for three conductors, and the blocks D<6> are recessed to receive L-shaped connectors F', Fig. 10, and have vertical holes so that one arm of a connector can be inserted downwards to engage the conductor B<3> at the bottom of the reflector.
