Abstract

24,872. BrulÚ, N. Oct. 30. Harvesting - machines. - Adjustable stubble - cutting apparatus 12 is mounted at the rear of a harvester on a runner 16 and wheel 13. The runner 16 is connected to the main frame 2 by two link bars 18, which may be slotted. The axle of the wheel 13 passes through a triangular bracket 14 hinged to a bar which is pivotally connected to the harvester. The cutting - apparatus 12 may be raised by means of a lever 19 and chain 20. The cutter is driven from a crank on a shaft 8 forming part of the driving-mechanism of the conveyer.
