Kinematograph apparatus.-In a kinematograph camera of the kind in which a single toothed drum C feeds the film both towards and away from the intermittent-feed mechanism, a spur-wheel D mounted on the shaft B of the drum C drives a spindle G which drives the shutter and the intermittent-feed, which is of the kind described in Specification 21,787/08. Spring-controlled frames l<4>, m<5> are disposed on opposite sides of the central drum C, each of which frames is furnished with a pair of guide-rollers as l<3> and a pair of grooved pressure rollers as l<5> to retain the film upon the drum C, and a spring arm as l<1> to retain the spools upon their spindles. A focusing-screen is provided comprising a piece of ground glass j<7> in a vertical slide j<6>, which slide can be raised until the screen j<7> is opposite the exposure aperture j<5>.
