Springs, arrangement of.-Relates to concussion pads for motor-car bodies &c., and consists in forming recesses in the bearing-surfaces between the body or chassis, or both, for the reception of pads or strips composed of a mixture of oil and cork. In the form shown in Fig. 3, a pad C is shown interposed between the body D and chassis A of a motorcar, and is preferably hidden from view by an overhanging beading E. The pad may comprise several superposed layers of material.
