24,471. James, J. E., Child, J., Attwood, B. S., and Hyde, J. W. Oct. 26. Balls.-Relates to the class of golf-ball core described in Specifications 7878/09 and 7902/10. The core is made from lengths or rings of steel, combined together and riveted at the six points of intersection as shown in Fig. 4. A filling 6 of rubber is then run in while the device is held in a mould, and afterwards a winding 7 of rubber ribbon or filament is applied followed by treatment with an adhesive substance 8 such as rubber composition, and finally by the application of an outer cover 9.
