22,576. Witham, J. P. Oct. 4. Hand driving - mechanism. - A propelling- arrangement for wheeled chairs &c. is so constructed that the machine may be operated by the use of one hand only. The driving-wheel B is rigidly attached to the line axle A, which carries at its other end the propelling-rim C. The second driving-wheel D, connected to the propelling-rim E, is free to revolve upon the axle A, and the relative diameters and positions of the rims C, E are such that they may be operated separately or simultaneously by one hand.
