Player-pianos.-The auxiliary levers for operating the piano-actions are pivoted to the keys and are adapted to be operated by pneumatics through levers which are also pivotally connected to the keys. The auxiliary levers b, Figs. 1 and 2, are pivoted on the keys a, and are provided with blocks c<1> upon which the pianoactions rest. Screws g on the keys a are provided with notches in which the pivots l of the levers d are held by plates i. The levers d engage projections f on the blocks c<1> and are operated by the pneumatics e. In a modification, the pneumatics e rotate the levers d in the opposite direction, and the levers b, d are in operative connexion between their pivots.
