9542. Lloyd, W. H. April 22. Closet basins.-Supporting-means consist of a ring D fast on the soil-pipe B and bolts h uniting the ring and the basin A. The bolts pass into lateral wings on the ring, and other bolts k, i are used for adjusting purposes. By these means the greater part of the weight is borne by the soil-pipe and the stress on a thin wall or partition is reduced.
