Weeds, destroying. - A tool for destroying weeds &c. in lawns &c. by removing plugs of earth containing them comprises a receptacle C mounted on a tube A which is tapered or reduced in diameter at the lower end. Fig. 1 shows the receptacle C unsymmetrically' mounted, and a small tube B screwed into a larger tube A. Tubes B of different sizes may be used, and a handle may be provided.
