Jet-wheels; reversing.-A turbine rotor a, a<1> has two sets of blades x which are arranged opposite to each other and are separated by a diaphragm c which may be secured to the rotor, as shown, or to the casing if one is provided. The blades may have the forms shown in Figs. 4 and 5, and oppositely-arranged sets of nozzles e, f are provided for reversing. The rotor may be formed in one or more pieces.
