2645. Fleming, R. J., and Robinson, T. A. Feb. 1. Eyeglasses. - Means for detachably securing the lenses of rimless eyeglasses to the frames consist of a pin a, which is provided with a cranked portion entering a hole b in the lens e, and on either side of which are spring arms c shaped to conform to the lens. At the ends of the spring arms are lateral extensions d which grip the lens lightly. Where the cranked pin and spring arms are, as shown in the Figure, made from a single piece of wire, the flexibility of the arms may be increased by coiling the wire at j, and this coil may be utilized as a mounting for the plaquet f. The invention may be applied to various types of rimless eyeglasses.
