Fire-guards; supports for articles to be heated. -Two screens i, j and an ashguard m, all vertically adjustable, are carried on uprights b, c, d rising from a baseframe a, and a trivet f having means for engaging a firebar g is also vertically and laterally adjustable. The screens i, j are held in position by hooks k, l respectively, or by selfacting catches. The trivet f has eyes f<1> engaging round a crossbar e, which also has eyes engaging round the uprights b and rests in its lowest position on stops h.
