Rotary apparatus. - In air-washing apparatus, of the kind in which air is drawn into a vessel containing water (mixed if desired with a disinfectant or deodorant) by a fan driven by an electric motor, and washed before discharge by a film or spray produced by the rotation of mechanical devices by the motor, the motor shaft carries a hollow conical member 4 which raises liquid and delivers it in the form of spray through narrow openings 17 to the inlet side of the fan.
